Located in Queenstown, the Shotover Holiday Park is the place to go to experience ‘the Great Kiwi Stay’ in a park-like setting with mountain views in every direction.

The site was designed in keeping with the brown hues of the Queenstown landscape. It features a flash image slideshow on each page, an easy to use tab based navigation, a light box effect on images, and obvious call to actions for bookings.

Silverstream Lodge is a friendly, relaxed country bed and breakfast retreat 2 minutes from Lincoln University and 30 minutes from Christchurch International Airport and the CBD. Designed for your comfort and privacy, Silverstream has only recently been completed.

The website was developed in WordPress and features an opening flash slideshow of images. The latest news section is powered by a blog.

Owens Motel in Dunedin is located on the popular George Street  just a short walk to the central city, the museum, restaurants and bars, the central shopping precinct, Otago University and the hospital.

Developed in WordPress the website features large image banners, a blog, reservations phone number in a prominent position, and an embedded Google map.

Background: Rangitata Rafts offer white water rafting trips down the Rangitata River from their base in the Rangitata Gorge. Few other New Zealand rivers offer the same amazing scenery paired with the thrill and excitement of some of the country’s most exciting white water rafting action.

The Challenge

Rangitata Rafts felt they needed to refresh their website as it was becoming out of date. They wanted to manage the content themselves – something that would prove difficult with the existing website set up. They also wanted to take advantage of the latest social media marketing tools. The design of the site had to capture the unique landscapes of the area, the unique experience of a day out on the Rangitata River, and the thrills of rafting white water.

The Solution

After Re-Design

The TML Web design team undertook extensive web research – looking at comparable rafting and adventure websites from around the world. These websites were presented at a meeting with Rangitata Rafts to gauge the exact feel they were after for the website. Work on the concepts began soon after, with the new look quickly finalised.

The site was re-developed in the WordPress publishing system, giving Rangitata Rafts the ability to easily update all of the web content in-house. The new website has a blog with RSS feeds that are linked to the Twitter account TML Web created for Rangitata Rafts. TML also linked Rangitata Raft’s Facebook page with the website so new blog posts are added to the page automatically. The site was search engine optimised to ensure the excellent rankings the site had were not lost during the re-development.
